Iran says it has received a formal U.S. response to its latest proposal to resurrect the collapsed ceasefire, according to government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani. The American counterproposal was presented to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a cabinet meeting by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The exchange comes days after President Trump publicly rejected Iran's seven-day ceasefire proposal, with the two sides reportedly still disagreeing over the sequencing of any deal. Iran has not yet publicly detailed its response to the U.S. counterproposal.
